REALTORĀ®
For Jimmy Hopkins, home has always meant more than four walls and a roof. It is where families grow, memories are created, and life's most meaningful moments unfold. That belief inspired him to pursue a career in real estate and help others find a place they are proud to call home.
Born and raised in Nebraska, Jimmy spent seven years in Lincoln while attending college. A clinical rotation later took him to Hastings, where he met his wife. They have been married for 11 years and are raising their 8-year-old daughter. Although Hastings will always hold a special place in his heart, Lincoln is the city that shaped him, and he is excited to help others make it their home.
Before entering real estate, Jimmy worked as a personal banker and physical therapist assistant. Both careers taught him to listen carefully, solve problems, and earn trust - qualities that now guide the way he serves his clients. In 2025, a severe knee injury unexpectedly ended his healthcare career. During his recovery, he found the opportunity to pursue his longstanding interest in real estate. What initially felt like a setback ultimately led him to a rewarding new career.
Jimmy believes real estate is built on people, trust, and relationships that continue long after closing. He listens first, provides honest guidance, and helps each client make the decision that is right for them, even when that means waiting for the right fit. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, completing home-renovation projects, and occasionally testing whether he can still keep up with athletes half his age - although his knees are usually quick to remind him otherwise.
